The Forward Deployed Engineer is a BIG role. Or should I say role(s)? Because what's really happening is you're packing something that was formerly done by a small team into one person. And to turn up the heat even more, the expectation is that the FDE becomes the catalyst to unblock and accelerate the business outcome. Someone embedded within the customer's environment. Owning the outcome. It sounds great on paper, but I wonder what it looks like in practice as this role is deployed. Pun intended 馃槂 I鈥檓 curious what you think?
