The future of GTM is loop engineering (self-learning systems). If you’re still stuck prompt engineering, you’re falling behind. Let me clearly explain the difference: Loop engineering is the process of building an AI system that can act, observe, make decisions, and iterate until a defined goal is achieved. It is the future of GTM because learning systems get better over time. GTM plays get smarter. You get better outcomes. Humans are removed as the bottleneck in the iteration process. Those who build these systems faster, find GTM alpha sooner and it becomes more self-sustaining. This becomes easy to understand when we compare a loop to a prompt. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗜𝗡𝗣𝗨𝗧 = 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘴 1. Give AI a prompt 2. AI responds 3. You analyze / refine 4. You provide an updated prompt 5. Repeat manually as many times as it takes YOU make the refinements YOU have to input the new prompts YOU are the bottleneck 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗜𝗡𝗣𝗨𝗧 = 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 1. Provide a goal to AI 2. Agent takes action 3. It verifies its own work (against desired goal) 4. Makes corrections to get closer to goal 5. Repeats autonomously until the goal is achieved YOU engineer the system The SYSTEM gets you to the goal Loop engineering has already come to software engineering. It’s now coming to GTM engineering. It's the future is GTM systems: they learn and improve over time. GTM plays get better results. You get GTM alpha. This is going to be the next most exciting wave for GTM teams after AI. Subscribe…
